We are first time owners of a country home on a septic system and needed to find the right toilet paper for both the septic system and our personal needs. This product does both. I adopted the auto-send option for a case of this Seventh Generation toilet paper which keeps us supplied and we don’t have to think about it or hunt for sales and coupons. It is soft enough, all packaging is recyclable and if you are lucky enough to be able to store a case then I highly recommend this product and the auto-order option offered through Amazon.

The best alternative would be to not use paper at all.. why you people can’t just go to the bathtub and clean there with a bit of water and soap.. That’s a lot more environment friendly and actually you end up clean.. when you use paper you actually are not cleaning you are just removing the waste. Or do you clean your hands with just paper? I don’t think so. If you really want to clean (kill bacterial) you need to get use to wash with water and soap. Two great advantages:

1. You are actually saving the planet but not wasting paper (not even recycle paper)

2. Your butt will not stink anymore.

Completely satisfied with the product. The kids and I use this while the wife sticks with traditional TP… best I could do.

Anyone know how is Amazon as a corporation reducing it’s carbon footprint and trying to be greener? Does Amazon use recycled cardboard for shipping and recycled paper for receipts? Is there a plan for greener shipping?
