This is not a review of the product, but a warning to people wanting to buy this in the 2 pack like I did. I ordered this 2 pack of baby shampoo and wash on May 21, 2010…it is now June 3rd, and I still haven’t received my package. This is really aggravating, because I cannot write the person responsible for shipping it. My son is due the 4th of July, wonder if I will receive my package before he is born!!!!

We started using this product right when we got home from the hospital with our daughter (giving her a bath every 2-3 days). About 3 weeks later she developed horrible “baby acne” which just got progressively worse. Finally I decided to try a different shampoo (about 5.5 weeks old) and immediately we noticed a difference in her skin becoming less red and starting to heal. The baby acne wasn’t caused by the shampoo and I can’t say that it was switching shampoo that for sure made things better, but continuing with the Burt’s Bees certainly didn’t improve things in our case. Just wanted to share this in case anyone else had noticed an issue with skin irritation. On the positive note I LOVE how this shampoo smells!! We may try using it again when she gets a bit older because I love that it’s all natural, otherwise I’ll use it

Love the smell and how soft it leaves my daughter’s skin after her bath. Highly recommended.

Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Shampoo and Wash because has a delicious scent. I am a 27 year old with super sensitive skin. I grew up using bar soap, but now prefer liquid soaps, and I’ve tried just about everything. This is the mildest, best smelling soap I’ve used. I’m thrilled that the scent doesn’t bother me. My skin feels better (I think my former brand of liquid soap had ingredients that were slightly irritating to me, but I am not about to switch back to them and find out. I did a google search about possibly irritating ingredients in soaps and sodium lauryl sulfate is one of them that I am now avoiding.
I recommend this to anyone (baby or adult) with sensitive skin, and I would use the fragrance free version if you’re not sure about trying the scented version, although the ingredients look pretty mild: orange oil, anise oil, vanilla oil, etc. This is more cost effective than California Baby, which I also like, but I prefer this scent. I even mixed a little of Burt’s Baby Bee wash into the remainder of my California Baby wash.
I also used this as a shampoo, and it left my hair feeling clean and soft.

Love, love, love. Wouldn’t use anything else. Smells delicious, cleans well and rinses well. My twin boys have no problems w/ it. Lasts a long time…little bit goes a long way.
