We did enjoy this for the time we had it. It allowed our baby to sit in the tub unsupported (by us) and play while we sat there with her. It kept her contained a bit which allowed our baby and two year old to bathe together peacefully. However it broke after about 2 months. Some of the important connection points consist of this cheap plastic. After rigging the seat to work while broken, soon another part broke and we have to throw this away. It would have been nice to pass on to other mothers to get more life out this product, delaying it’s trip to the landfill. It hurts to throw all of this plastic away but I guess it was eventually going there. We think there must be a better option that’s more responsible for the environment. We do get caught up in getting baby gear and this is something we could definitely do without. For 2 months – just hold your baby in the bath – they will quickly outgrow the need and can sit on their own – even with the 2 year old in there too!

We use this when our daughter is in an unruly mood and we can’t keep her sitting in the tub. She seems to like that she’s still in the water even if she’s a few inches from the bottom of the tub. The latches are a possible pinch point, so we’re careful when putting her in or taking her out. It’s not the most comfortable looking seat so we add a small towel over the seat and back to cushion it for her. It’s a secure seat with the four large suction cups on the bottom & I’ve never had it come loose with her in it. Overall, I’d say that it’s a decent product & works fine for babies that can sit well or stand already. Our daughter is quite large for her age, at one, she’s the size of an average 2 year old but I see us being able to use it on her for another 6 months at least.

Overall I am pleased and my little boy enjoys baths in his new seat. I really like how the front bar will open so it is easier to get him in and out, but it is hard to open it up with wet hands. There are pieces on each side that you put your thumb on and slide up to release the bar. You have to do them both at the same time and they are smooth, which makes it hard to get a grip on. In mu opinion, adding ridges to this piece or some texture to allow more friction will be an important change to the only frustrating problem I have with this seat.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I love this bath seat. It was relatively inexpensive and worth every penny!! I have been using it for the past 10 months, since they could sit up. My one twin is a chunkster, and I have no problem closing the front bar over his stomach. YOu just have to make sure they are sitting all the way back and raise the bar slowly. One of the screws has rusted just a little, but other than that it is awesome. Being able to fold down the front seat to wash all his parts is great. Also you take the seat apart completely to allow it to air out. Sometimes bath toys and seats get grimy and moldy. The bottom of the seat is very comfortable as well. It keeps one from getting up while I am bathing the other. You just can’t beat it.oh, also the suction is very strong, sometimes too strong. Buy this one!!

I returned this because even though the amazon ad says for kids up to two years, the box CLEARLY states this product is NOT for kids over 10 months old (who can pull to stand on their own). So I returned it and bought the primo bath tub which I plan to use until my son is close to 2 years old
