Boy, was I disappointed in my 8-pack of AA eneloop rechargeable batteries. Yes, they were already charged as promised when I got them, but drained quickly. After recharge, My Canon camera tells me to change the batteries after just a few shots. I have used several different kinds of batteries and was enthused when I read the reviews about these batteries. But I will definitely go back to MAHA’s Powerex 2700 mAH batteries that are powerful, hold a charge for a long time (more than one quick use of my camera) and withstand many recharges before they fail.

*UPDATE* 3 1/2 Stars

I just checked my email and amazon responded quickly and appropriately, if I could go back I would give this product a 3 1/2 stars due to the excellent customer service. And really this 1 star rating was just to get the vendors attention. But I believe amazon when they say they will look into this situation and hopefully for their sake and everyone elses it is an isolated one.

Also I have read many great things about this battery from several well known camera message boards online and the consensus is that these battery really work well and last longer than most. Sanyo also has 2700mah ones out now too, I’d like to try them but I will wait since I have these on the way already.

If you value your time and money don’t open your wallets with these people. According to this the product is provided by “Sanyo Energy Corporation”? This is the most annoying circumstance I have been in since ordering online for years now.

The plastic package I received was torn open and taped back together with clear boxing tape. I did not pay a premium price to be given used or opened batteries. Even if they were not used I did not pay this price to be given batteries that could have taken a powerful impact to the packaging.

It would not have been that bad at all if it wasn’t for knowing that someone PURPOSELY gave me a damaged/opened package. I am an understanding person and if it happened during transit that is one thing but it had a boxing tape on the package that was keeping it together is insulting and a horrible way to treat paying customers.

Would not buy this product again. If you have any problem with a sanyo product, you will NEVER get service from this company. After 2 weeks of sending meails and several hours of calling every Sanyo customer service number I could find online, I just gave up. You will only get voice-prompts, circular loops, and deaed-end messages. DON’T BUY SANYO

I have not found these to be any better than other rechargables after 6 months of use. These are overrated.
