Since the purchase of a Braun thermoscan some years back I kept thinking I should get a newer model but never got around to it. When I looked for replacement filters on Amazon I saw the opportunity to order a brand new thermoscan and I took it. It’s great and it arrived on time and in perfect condition.

Thanks.

Hi: I have a Braun Exacttemp Thermoscan 6022. Have had it for over two years. I can take my temperture one minute and then a minute later and I get two different temps, same happens from ear to ear. Can vary as much as 2 degrees. Maybe I need an newer version.

easy to use, but not so quick as expected, hard to use on small kids, and the temperature looks lower than normal.

I got this when I registered while pregnant. My child is now 2.5 and we’ve used this only a handful of times; I generally find it’s easier to get a rectal temperature from a toddler than an ear temp, as well as being told by my pediatrician that rectal is far more accurate with no margin of error. Having a child who is rarely sick (thank goodness!) also attributes to this having been used primarily by my husband and I. This morning I didn’t feel great, and used it on myself. It said 104.2. I tend to run high fevers when sick, but didn’t feel THAT sick. Changed the batteries and got 103.5. I was about to stay home from work, when on a hunch checked my child and husband. They had 102 and 101 temps, and neither was sick; checked child rectally and got 98.6. PIECE OF GARBAGE, which is exactly where it’s going!
