They must have redesigned the Diaper Dekor 2 and stopped making the correct refills. These refills do NOT fit my 2-year-old Diaper Dekor 2. Had to throw the can out, can’t find refills anywhere. Just using our trash now. Potty training here we come!

As a Dad, I had no idea whick Diaper Dekor i have. On the Diaper Dekor it does not say ‘Plus’ on it anywhere so who would know. To tell, the origninal Diaper Dekor has a round / oval shape that holds the bags while the Diaper Dekor plus a rectangle with slightly rounded edges. So, be sure to use the right bags. These diaper dekor bags don’t fit the diaper dekor plus. The picture on the box is completely misleading.

I’m not sure why all the complaints. My daughter is 9 mos. old and we have been using these from day 1. These actually smell better (they are lightly scented) and contain odor better than the regular non-biodegradable inserts. Sure, the diaper pail stinks for a few minutes when I open it up to toss a diaper in, but what diaper pail doesn’t? I’m using a box of the regular inserts right now because I couldn’t find the biodegradable ones for a while, and the whole room stinks like diapers. I’m so glad these are available again.
Pair these with your gdiapers and you’re doing the earth a big favor!

These biodegradable bags don’t hold in odor like the old ones. I used to walk in my daughter’s nursery and not smell a thing. Since using these bags her nursery smells. I’m disappointed and hope that I can find the old ones AND hope they are not an arm and a leg.

a lot of people’s comments were that smells filtered through these bags easier than the non bio degradible version, but I have been using the diaper dekor for three years now and it seems like just it gets just as smelly as it always did. A little bit of odor still comes through when you open the unit, but that is life. I like this system cause it is so easy to just empty out a few diapers or a lot at one time. It does seem silly to push the bio-degradible angle though when diapers aren’t so what does it matter. I still love this system and think it looks good in a more modern styled nursery.
